About the Owner
My love for art began in childhood. While studying Journalism at Temple University, I discovered how powerfully photographs can tell stories. I began fusing photography with text and narrative in my work. In 2011, I became a freelance journalist, documenting extraordinary lives and everyday acts of resistance. As I developed my craft, people hired me to take their portraits. Honeywater Creative grew organically out of my desire to elevate important stories and serve my community through creating accessible fine art.
My photography, journalism, and poetry has been published in various media outlets including The Philadelphia Inquirer, Travel Noire, The Hellebore Press, The Atlanta Black Star, A Gathering Together Literary Journal, and For Harriet.
